I agree to have read and agree to all policies and codes of conduct on the Starlets website - under Enrolments (password starlets). This includes Child Protection Policy, Online Participation Waiver, Base 3 Policy (if in Base 3) and the Parents Policy. The Parents Policy we have posted below also. Any updates will be on the website versions. You will be made aware via email of any updates to policies. Any disagreements on future edits are to be queried via writing to discuss.
I understand staff cannot administer medication of any kind. I consent to Emergency First Aid being administered and agree that Emergency Services will be called if required. I agree to inform The Starlets Academy Ltd as soon as possible of any change in medical circumstances or personal details.
Photo and Video Consent

I agree for my Child's photos and videos to be used for marketing purposes which includes The Starlets website, leaflets, flyers, press stories on the school, social media platforms including facebook and instagram, competition entrance videos and other marketing tools.
My Childs full name and details including emergency contact details and medical information can be used on registers (an online private system shared with teachers of the school only), printouts for holiday clubs/ medals/ shows or competitions (paper will be shredded after use), show programmes (full names used for audience members), entrance into competitions and medals (names and date of birth used only), council performance applications (sent directly to your Childs council with name, address, date of birth- this information is kept on principals laptop protected with a password.
I give my consent for my Child to be named alongside their image.

Parents Policy
This policy is designed to ensure your child’s safety, progress and positive experience here at The Starlets.
- Dance terms run term time only (Base 3 & Starlets Competition Group is full year), dates are noted on the system, after school clubs coincide with the school holidays.
- Payments are made online via our website via a monthly Subscription Plan, once this is set up payments will automatically come out of your bank monthly. Late payments/ declined payments will automatically reattempt at a later date, there is a £5 late fee charge that will be added for late payments. Should you not of paid by 10th of the month attendance to class will not be possible until payment is made.
- There is a transaction fee of 4.6% plus 20p this is automatically added from this management system. If you would like to pay in full for the term/year instead of a monthly direct debit please direct message me and we will be able to look at the possibility of this and therefore you would have this above fee deducted.
- Private lessons will be paid for by bank transfer or cash at beginning of month at the start of the month for full month- correct change only please.
- Any extra owing payments such as competitions, shows etc should be made to account details are- The Starlets Ltd, Sort Code 30-63-94 Account number 34636868 with reference fees+ Childs name or via cash in a named envelope.
- If there are any outstanding monies (example private lessons/competitions etc) you will receive two messages as a reminder to transfer when possible. If money is two weeks or more overdue by the start of the next month (1st) this payment will be added to that months fees as a ‘covering payment’ and will be automatically taken with your usual monthly fee. You will incur a £2 late fee admin charge for this. You will be notified of this via email and also facebook message/ text message.
- There are no refunds on missed classes.
- There is no refunds on unforeseen closures beyond our control eg. weather related cancellations or last minute school closures should they arise.
- In the event of an unforeseen illness, injury or any other unforeseen circumstances get in touch with us as soon as possible. You should let your teacher know if child is absent on the day of class or as soon as possible so we can update registers.
- Private lessons- These are booked in advance and full payment is required upfront. Private lessons also require a 48 hour cancellation else full charge is required.
- Teachers reserve the right to refuse tuition to any child whom is misbehaving, disruptive or disrespectful. This will be discussed with parents prior to.
- Should you owe fees for classes or any other purchases and you have left the school, payment should still be paid. If no reply or contact matters will be followed through the small claims court.
- There is a 28 day notice period to cancel, leave or change classes. Full payment will be taken at this time and your child can attend classes as normal in this period. Should your child leave mid year payments will be checked to ensure you have paid for all classes received, this is due to our classes split over a year. If you have not paid for all sessions received there will be a covering payment added to the notice period.
- All classes require complete concentration and focus and so parents are required to drop children off and pick up or parents can sit outside the room if they require. Parents are welcome to sit in the 18 months-3yrs classes and trial classes only. Base 3 parents will be invited into classes regularly.
- Smoking is not permitted in or around any premises we teach in.
- Please inform teachers of anyone that should not be picking up your child or if you should be running late for collection. There is a £5 late pick up fee for any more than 15 minutes late for collection.
- Parents should not contact teachers directly and should message the Starlets facebook page or contact number, 07969059269.
- Teachers will avoid any unnecessary physical contact with pupils. However parents/ guardians should understand that most aspects of this teaching will involve contact.
- Complaints Procedure- Should you have a complaint you can forward this direct to Lisa Fitzpatrick via message, phone call, in person or in writing. Lisa will try get back to you as soon as possible.
